The Avalon Expedition divided.
Despite the food, water, and other plentiful resources the Expedition has found in the mysterious nebula 3,000 light years from home, Vice Admiral Redfield’s military takeover has sowed distrust among the Expedition's captains. Captain Cassandra Farren and Director Elizabeth Ancelet find themselves in the Avalon’s brig and the crew of the Guinevere press-ganged into service aboard the CSV Shabayev, while the captured Inquisitor Vadric watches events unfold from within his cell.
